I'm going to relate a quick tale about the lessons ones learns in the course of writing... Oh, let's say the course of writing a blog. As someone who has been writing some kind of personal stuff on a site of sorts for over four years now, you'd think I would have learned about the dangers of writing about any personal issues. The problem, of course, is that no matter how hard you may try to keep things out of the "standard" viewing area of people you know... There is still that ever-so-reliabl...

Prepare for melodrama. I'm going to go ahead and violate so many of my own site-writing rules at once that, in fact, I may never be able to write again just out of the shame of my own writing infidelities. But, currently, I think this is something that needs to be done. Some people, when bad events occur, hole up in their living room with a bottle of ice cream and watch depressing movies. Some go on murderous rampages. I write a lengthy treatise on why I am the way I am in a romantic sense. S...

Thought I'd post of one of my personal favorite blog entries for the JoeUser crowd. So here's my story of what is, without question, the best date I ever had; though, to be honest, it wasn't really a date. A date would imply that I went out somewhere with a girl, but instead I just went to this girl's house with the premise of spending Memorial Day together. Backstory : This girl and I had been "together" for what may have been fourth months at this point. We become an "official couple" a ...

The title is a bit melodramatic, but I figure that's kind of what I'm doing. I'm not starting over a totally new leaf in my life or anything… Rather, I'm correcting the leaf I've been trying to lift for the last couple months by going back to the lifestyle I feel most comfortable in. There was a comment made to my last entry , and I'm not talking about little_whips very odd comment that couldn't have been more off the mark, though I can definitely see where he got it. However, the comment that ...

To begin this post, I'd like to inform everyone that I'll be starting a new job tomorrow doing programming for the University of Michigan's solar heliospheric space research department. I'll only be working there for about 3 months; so, basically just the summer. I'll be working around 30 hours per week or so, and also still working my FileFront job. It should be nice change of pace as opposed to simply sitting at home all day watching TV, playing games, and waiting for assignments from FileFr...

Sometimes, I swear that giving the general public access to the internet was the worst fucking thing that ever happened to the world. Firstly, people need to have reasons to use instant-messengers; if teenie-boppers want to spend their days chatting it up with their friends, talking shit behind people's backs, and gossiping, then do so the old-fashioned way: the phone. That way, when you talk to your buddy/girlfriend/what-the-fuck-ever, you won't have to embarrass the entire human race by you...

History is dictated by those who felt the need to record it. For all we know, some crack whore could’ve documented the entire history before we had radio/video. The Revolutionary War could’ve been fought entirely between penguins and kittens, and not a single person that isn’t currently in the possession of a full-functional time machine could tell the world otherwise. This, my readers, is why I blog. I don’t give a flying fuck if people actually read this (though I do enjoy comments, people ...
