I'm a Weird Guy

This post was originally going to be about people's roles in today's society, and how I feel that there are two types of friends: those motivated by their own self-interest, and those motivated by the interests of others (obviously the latter make better friends). Half-way through writing it, I realized it was boring, so now I'm just going to discuss my odd method of thinking. Why? Hell if I know.

Due to the fact that I'm a major self-professed geek, most of my thinking tends to be very logic-oriented. However, with that said, I'm not the typical geek either. When I was growing up (not that I've quit growing up, quite the contrary actually), we always did these little "what's your learning style?" and "what type of thinker are you?" surveys/quizzes in my various classes, only to discover that I'm a mix of many types of thinking methodologies. I can learn kinesthetically/tactually, or the more audio/visual learners. This, essentially, just boils down to which side of the brain is your dominant side: the right side (creative) or the left side (logic/deterministic). What I found out with these tests is that I can use each side, for the most part, interchangably; which means I can write a fictional story (using the right-side of my brain) or write some type of program (highly logic-based, thus being the left-side of my brain). This is the basis for the name of my blog: Creative Logic.

I could write more in this post, but IN SOVIET RUSSIA, POSTS WRITE YOU!

The test whould also have told you that it is a sign of high intelligence. An alternative name for my Independent television show a few years back was going to be "Corpus Collosum" as its' development is the key to such genius for its ability to 'see' and 'think' more on matters.

I had a friend who was the greatest Classical Pianist I ever heard; completely autodidactical. Yet his true love was calculus. This was a true left/right brain thinker and a genius the likes of which I have never since encountered.

Personally,I consider original thought to be a gift of God in the literal sense. You should feel privileged to be allowed such ability.
Make babies, as the species can always use left/right brain thinkers.

I believe engineering, science, math, are all highly creative. Especially in the advanced areas.

Now take accounting on the other hand...
