For the last seven years, I’ve played countless games that can be easily-classified as a certain genre without so much as a neuron in my sad excuse for a brain being disturbed. This is a good thing if you’re a die-hard fan of a genre, but, come on, how many different 3rd-person adventure games do need? Personally, moving crates and hitting switches that require endless amounts of jumping across insanely-constructed platforms to reach got old for me after a couple hours of the first Tomb Raider game.
