Definately Looks Like a Winner

Looks like my preview of the Political Machine has been posted over at FileFront. Here's a little clip from it:

Fresh from the minds at Stardock that brought you what was thought, by some, to be the best turn-based strategy game of 2003 (Galactic Civilizations) comes The Political Machine; a game that puts you in the role of a presidential candidate’s campaign manager. It is your goal to ensure your candidate’s victory over the other party’s candidate and in order to do so you must manage funds, schedule campaign speeches and ads, win endorsements from large organizations… And occasionally play a little dirty by getting operatives to “smear” your opponent.

Good feedback in there.

I'm not sure how much "depth" can really be added. Ultimately, this is not designed to be some large scale Warcraft III type game. It's a smaller game for a smaller market. It's designed to be played and finished in less than an hour per game. I think replayability will come in the form of the fantasy setup (still to come) and multiplayer.

You know, this game sounds fascinating. I am really hoping there will be a demo (I believe it says there will be one on the homepage). Enjoyed the preview.
